How to install BMW EasyCoding drive and software
BMW EasyCoding is a newly developed aftermarket device that reads and clears BMW and Rolls-Royce error codes and allows car owners to personalize vehicle settings. The installation of the tool is very easy. There is a USB Disk coming with the scanner, containing EasyCoding software. By connecting the USB Disk to a laptop and then follow some system prompts, the software can be easily installed. Below is a quick guide:
Software Operation Requirement:
System requirement: WINDOWS System including XP SP3, WINDOWS 7 and WINDOWS 8.
Computer requirement: The computer should have at least 2GB system RAM and 4GB HDD space.
Step 1 – Connect EasyCoding scanner to your cars OBD (OBDII) port and your laptop. Then plug the USB Disk that comes with BMW EasyCoding scanner into the USB port of your laptop.
Step 2 – Open the file of the USB Disk and then double click EasyCoding icon “Setup_ENUS V184.108.40.206226”.
Step 3 – Follow system prompts to install BMW EasyCoding drive. When the drive is installed, there will be a “BMWEasyCoding” icon on the desktop.
Step 4- Double click the “BMWEasyCoding” icon to start the software and then click “Options”.
Step 5- Click on “Version” to confirm software, base database and common coding database versions.
Step 6 – Click on “Language” and then select the language that you want. Click “OK” after the installation is complete.
